Biography

Sabryna Liddle, NBC-HWC, is a health and wellness coach, educator, and leader in the field of coaching excellence. She serves as Vice President of Coaching Excellence for Catalyst Coaching 360 and Head of Coaching for the Health Navigator Coaching initiative at Strategic Action Health. With more than 18 years of experience in health and wellness coaching, Sabryna has contributed to the development of coaching programs, coach training, and evidence-based approaches to behavior change.

She is Affiliate Faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she teaches Wellness Coaching courses focused on practical coaching competencies, motivational interviewing, and behavior change science. Sabryna is passionate about supporting students and coaches in developing the skills, self-awareness, and communication practices that empower individuals to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Research Interests

    Sabryna’s professional interests focus on the application of behavioral science and coaching to support sustainable health and wellbeing. Areas of interest include motivational interviewing, habit formation, self-efficacy, and the thinking–feeling–behavior relationship in health decision-making.

    She is also interested in the role of coaching in population health, workplace wellness programs, and emerging models such as health navigator coaching that support individuals to more strategically address their health.

Teaching Interests

    Sabryna’s teaching interests include health and wellness coaching, behavior change science, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based approaches to supporting sustainable lifestyle change. Her teaching emphasizes the development of coaching presence, effective communication skills, and the ability to support clients in clarifying values, building self-awareness, and taking meaningful action.

    Her teaching philosophy centers on experiential learning and reflective practice. Through coaching demonstrations, practice sessions, and structured reflection, students develop both practical coaching skills and deeper understanding of behavior change processes. Sabryna encourages students to cultivate curiosity, empathy, and self-awareness so they can effectively partner with clients in creating lasting wellbeing.
