Biography

Dr. Davie is an Associate Professor of Sport Management at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His teaching and research explore the intersections of sport, sustainability, and community development, with a particular emphasis on adventure and lifestyle sports and sport tourism. He specializes in connecting theory to practice, examining how sport organizations can integrate environmental responsibility, ethical governance, and social impact into their operations. His work emphasizes experiential learning and leadership development, preparing students to address complex challenges and create positive change within sport, tourism, and sustainable community contexts.
