Laura Braunschmidt
A Category II Faculty member in the aviation and aerospace department in my sixth year at MSU Denver. Prior to MSU Denver, I was a First Officer with Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. I am a proud mother of a son who is also an Air Traffic Controller and my husband is a professional pilot and MSU Denver alumni.

Research Interests

I research current and future trends in the aviation industry both for commercial and corporate flying opportunities. I am always looking for the future needs and qualifications that are necessary to succeed.

Teaching Interests

I am focused on helping students interested in the professional pilot track to achieve their dream as an aviator. I keep up on current hiring trends, interview techniques, and company information that will be helpful for those wanting to pursue a career as a professional pilot.
