Biography

"Ted" Jinseup Shin, a former senior designer at Samsung, is Chair of MSU Denver’s Industrial Design program, specializing in innovation, design psychology, and international collaboration through teaching and partnerships.

Research Interests

    Ted Shin's research interests focus on design innovation, user experience, design psychology, cross-cultural design practices, advanced visualization techniques, and the integration of emerging technologies and materials in design.

Teaching Interests

    Ted Shin's teaching interests include design thinking, product innovation, design psychology, visualization techniques (manual and digital), cultural design, and international design workshops and collaborations fostering global perspectives.
