Bio

After more than 20 years within the Colorado manufacturing industry, Mr. Butler has honed skills and knowledge associated with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Quality Management initiatives.

At MSU-Denver, Jason serves as as the Laboratory Coordinator for the Advanced Manufacturing Sciences Institute (AMSI) responsible for safety oversight, training of faculty and students, management of student access to equipment, collaboration with industry partners, and oversight of ongoing functionality of the AMSI Laboratories.

He also serves an Affiliate Faculty for both the Engineering and AMSI departments utilizing his prior training and experiences to instruct courses to include: MET 3410 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, MET 4080 Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), MET 2010 CNC Machining & Inspection, and AMS 3010 Additive Manufacturing Stratasys Certification Preparation Credits.

Since leaving the manufacturing industry, Jason has found a new passion for sharing his knowledge and expertise with students and preparing them for careers in advanced manufacturing industries.
