Hello everyone! I am the Advising Systems Coordinator for Technology and Support. Previously, I was one of the professional advisors for the Art, Music, and Theatre and Dance Departments, as well as the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Advising Coordinator.
Before starting my career in higher education, I earned a BA in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from Eastern Illinois University and an MA in International/Intercultural Communication with an emphasis in Human Rights from the University of Denver. Just for fun, I also took classes toward an MA in Design Strategy and Innovation. During my undergraduate studies I participated in the Disney College Program and worked in the Wardrobe Department at Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center in Orlando, FL. During grad school I interned in the Public Relations Department at The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. Prior to becoming a Roadrunner, I spent 10+ years in admissions and advising at a small, private art college here in Colorado.
I'm a runner, a reader, a knitter, a foodie, and the proud mamma of a mischievous Chihuahua. Say hi when you have a chance!
