Biography

Received B.A. in Music from MSU Denver. Received M.M. from University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a focus in Theory. Served in the United States Marine Corps from 2002-2010, including a tour in Iraq (2005-2006).

Research Interests

    Music theory pedagogy, perception and cognition.

Teaching Interests

    Integrate visual and kinesthetic learning into music theory aural skills. Learning different and new material to keep topics relatable and fun to each individual class.
