Biography

Rebecca (“Becky”) Sheppard is a partner with BETZER CALL LAUSTEN & SCHWARTZ, LLP(“BCLS”), She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). While working with BCLS, Becky has provided invaluable assistance in analyzing, summarizing and interpreting client data and drafting reports in the firm’s various litigation cases. The over twelve-years’ experience she has gained from her own accounting practice has enabled Becky to gain immediate understanding of client needs and options in every firm project on which she has worked.

Since 2013, Becky has been the owner and operator of ACCOUNTABILITY, INC., a successful QuickBooks consulting firm with fifteen employees. She and her staff manage approximately 250 sets of books for clients ranging in start-ups to multimillion-dollar corporations. Her firm is in the top of her field, and she has served clients in all areas of accounting and return preparations, including but not limited to employment tax, sales tax, personal property tax, non-profit, individual, fiduciary and business returns. Since her clients range in a large variety of businesses, Becky has gained a well-rounded, universal understanding of industries, which include various construction trades, as well as general contractors, property investment and management, manufacturing, medical/dental, restaurants, consulting, financial planning, non-profits, salons, interior decorators, realtors, photographers, heavy equipment, trucking, network marketers and homeowner associations.
