If your GPA is 2.0 or higher and you attend one of our partner high schools, we’ll connect with you to ensure you’re on the right track to becoming an MSU Denver Roadrunner.

Here’s what happens next:

1. 1. Watch your inbox: Participating schools and districts will connect you with MSU Denver directly if you have a 2.0 GPA or higher at the beginning of the semester. You will then be invited to apply for free and will begin to receive important information about the admissions process.

   2. Apply: Complete your MSU Denver application for free. Once admitted, you will get messages about deadlines, events and next steps.

   3. Apply for Financial Aid: Submit your FAFSA/CASFA and MSU Denver General Scholarship application to access exclusive funding opportunities. While the MSU Denver Connect Scholarship is guaranteed to eligible students, we also encourage completing the General Scholarship Application to secure any additional funding to support your educational journey.

At MSU Denver, your students success is our mission. MSU Denver Connect partners with select high schools and districts so that your student can be automatically admitted if they have a 2.0 GPA or higher.

Here’s how it works:

1. We connect with your student: participating schools connect MSU Denver with eligible students who meet the 2.0 GPA threshold. Your student will receive communications letting them know they qualify
2. Your student applies: Once your student submits their FREE application, they’ll receive a decision in as little as three days.
3. Plan ahead with Financial Aid and Scholarships: Admitted Students who submit FAFSA/CASFA and our general scholarship application may be eligible for exclusive funding opportunities.

MSU Denver Connect is designed to provide your student with access to a diverse community, career engagement and academic support throughout their Roadrunner journey. Beginning with direct support from a dedicated admissions representative who can guide your student through the admissions and enrollment process.

MSU Denver Connect provides students with a fast track to getting started on their postsecondary and career goals. As counselors in one of our partner schools, we’re dedicated to supporting you in your work to remove barriers and connect students to their educational pursuits.

1. Connect with your admissions counselor: Each MSU Denver Connect School District has a dedicated admissions counselor who can support you and your students through the admissions process. Set up a rep visit at your high school for a tailored presentation to help guide your students.
2. Schedule a campus group visit: Bring your students to campus for a firsthand look at all of our resources and opportunities available to future Roadrunners.
3. Remind your students to check their email regularly: Eligible students will be receiving communications from MSU Denver reminding them to submit their FREE application. Once admitted, students will receive important information and guidance on their next steps.
