Important Scholarship Information
- The MSU Denver General Scholarship Application opens in December 2024 for the Fall 2025 term.
- The priority Deadline for the MSU Denver scholarship application is March 1st. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
General Scholarship Application
You must complete the General Scholarship Application. Based on the information you provide on the application, you will be matched to any available scholarship that you are eligible for at MSU Denver.
*You must first be admitted to MSU Denver before submitting this application.
Completing CASFA
CASFA stands for Colorado Application for State Financial Aid. International students do not qualify for state funding. This form may need to be completed to meet the eligibility requirements for some scholarships.
MSU Denver Scholarships Open to International Students
Some of our scholarships have residency or citizenship requirements, which restrict eligibility for international students. But some of our scholarships are open to F-1 international students.

David Sternburg Memorial Endowed Scholarship: Provides scholarships to students pursuing careers in Accounting.
Elements Annual Scholarship:
Provides scholarships for students who are a sophomore, junior or senior, have a declared major within the College of Business or a declared major in Communications Design, Construction Project Management, or Industrial Design, while maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Howerton Family Endowment: Provides scholarships to Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Social Work, and Sociology majors.
International Students Annual Scholarship: Provides scholarships to new and continuing international students.
Irv Brown Endowed Scholarship: Provides scholarships to MSU Denver students pursuing a degree in ‘Sport Management or ‘Journalism & Media Production’.
McFail Family New Beginnings Endowed Scholarship: Provides a helping hand to any student in need at MSU Denver. Students will be required to participate in the C2Hub Scholarship Student Support & Retention program.
Professor Emeritus Nancy Frontczak Endowed Scholarship: Provides scholarships to MSU Denver students pursuing a degree in Marketing.
PTK- MSU Denver Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship: Provides students transferring to MSU Denver from a community college who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.
Selfridge-Kalal Hospitality Scholarship: Provides scholarships to students in MSU Denver’s School of Hospitality.
