Bio

When I was asked what I didn't want to be when I was younger, I said a teacher. I thought it seemed scary.
Growing up learning math I didn't understand what a variable was and it made me frustrated that I didn't understand something so simple.
After getting older and going through life, I found that I enjoyed teaching people math after I had my eureka moment with it which sparked my deep interest in the subject. I now have a love of teaching others math and helping people understand something they thought they couldn't. It brings me joy to see others succeed.

Teaching Interests

I believe everyone is a "math person" and anyone can learn math. I very often get students on the first day of class that say "Oh, I'm just not a math person so I am not going to do well in this class", and this becomes the motivation for me to change their mind. It is my goal to show everyone that they are a math person and anyone can do what they set their minds to.
