The Spring 2025 BFA Thesis Exhibition showcases the critical research and responsive work of 26 emerging artists and designers as they conclude their undergraduate studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver).

The Spring 2025 MSU Denver BFA Thesis Exhibition is the pinnacle of the education of MSU Denver’s Studio Art and Communication Design students. Graduating students will present their thesis work in an exhibition at Center for Visual Art – Metropolitan State University of Denver (CVA).  The MSU Denver BFA Thesis Exhibition is held bi-annually at CVA located in the heart of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, offering students valuable exposure to the broader local arts community and the opportunity to exhibit in a professional art space. These diverse exhibitions offer the public a chance to see some of MSU Denver’s best and brightest emerging art and design talent.

The work of these BFA graduates explores a variety of social issues with the purpose of sparking dialog and inspiring positive change. Exhibition themes include explorations into the impacts of addiction, society’s constriction of individuality, resilience through absurdity, and reconciling one’s cultural heritage with national identity. Visitors are invited to explore their understanding of current issues through work created in diverse media, including digital media, communication design, sculpture, painting, and photography.
