Spring 2023 MSU Denver BFA Thesis Exhibition

the Spring 2023 BFA Thesis Exhibition showcases the critical research and responsive work of 19 inventive artists and designers as they conclude their undergraduate studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver).
The Spring 2023 BFA Thesis Exhibition is the pinnacle of the education of MSU Denver’s Studio Art and Communication Design students. Graduating students will present their thesis work in a gallery exhibition at Center for Visual Art – Metropolitan State University of Denver (CVA).
Through their work, the Spring 2023 MSU Denver BFA Art and Design graduates investigate themes of importance such as identity, culture, grief, remembrance, and social issues. The exhibition includes a wide range of contemporary practices and methods in both art and design, incorporating installation, video, drawing, collage, painting, and sculpture.
The 19 emerging artists and designers featured in the exhibition include:
Elise Alarid, Cassandra Cooper, Juliet Fife, Jessa Genov, Colton Heidenfelder, Juno J. Heo, David Hernandez, Meg Hott, Elizabeth Mahler Licence, Annie Long, Shantell Montoya, Phoebe Nguyen, Allison Nicolosi-Risinger, Dale Pittman, Devin Ramirez, Jack Randall, Cyrena Rosati, Shane Woodward, and Krystle Wright.
The exhibition will be on view April 7 – May 5, 2023. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 7th, 6 – 8 pm. Admission to CVA is free and open to everyone.
