I’m a gritty, first-one-in-my-family, first-generation Bachelor and Master degree in Higher Education Administration graduate which means nothing, if one is not of high character, from my perspective. With reference to how I view work, my first purpose as an educator is to nourish and support the growth of human beings…I make work fun for the student being served as well as for myself.  My primary work goal is to be an amazing student service provider, to be as clear as possible in explaining the essentials of the MSU Denver Veteran and military student admissions process and to continue to serve as an advocate who has their back throughout their MSU Denver educational journey. I am extremely grateful and blessed to be working with a tremendous Vet/Mil team of talented, confident professionals and incredible student staff who are authentic leaders in their own right.

My mantra is “hope is the last thing to die” as evidenced by the fact that I am and have been a loyal Cleveland Browns football team fan for over 55 years

My name is Virginia Roberts, and I am a Masters in Social Work Intern with MSU.  I graduated Cum Laude in 2015 from my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, located in the same city where I grew up. I have experience working in my bachelors' internship with homeless veterans and later went on to work with adults with developmental disabilities. Helping people is my passion, and I love the work I do!
