As the director of the Tutoring program at MSU Denver, I oversee the administration and coordination of tutoring to support MSU Denver's students. My passion for Higher Education began early on in my life, dating back to my senior year in high school. It was there where I first started as a Math and Physics tutor.
Ever since my introduction into Education, I have worked in the field at different levels and in different capacities throughout the years. From my initial introduction to higher education, and even now, my goal has remained consistent: helping college students succeed in whatever way I can.
In addition to my duties at MSU Denver, I am further pursuing my passion and working towards completion of a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership. My dissertation topic involves significant research on the various theoretical models on college student retention. As such, this research creates a space in which I take a very hands on approach, both with my team, and with the students and faculty that we serve. As such, this research creates a space that allows for me to take a very hands on approach with my team, and with the students and faculty that we serve.
There is only one way to success - It's called hard work.
