THEATRE PRODUCTIONS

Kaiser Permanente Internship Auditions

Image explaining new season and auditions for Kaiser Permanente. Auditions will be March 19th with a 20 minute contemporary appropriate monologue..

We produce two musicals and two non-musicals every year providing students with practical training and experience in theatrical productions.  Our productions are student fee funded, therefore, any MSU Denver student is welcome to audition or work in a technical area.  In addition, every MSU Denver student can get one free ticket to every production by reserving it with their student I.D. at the King Center Box Office (based upon availability).

We believe in supporting and developing a strong ‘ensemble-based’ approach to performance, theatre technology, design, and production.  Our goal is a unified collaboration between all members of the production team working together on behalf of the play, rather than emphasizing individual performances or technical elements. A place where "Everybody Counts! Everybody Contributes! and Everybody Cares!

We encourage all of our theatre majors and minors to explore all aspects of theatre.  Being cross-trained in different areas of the theatre process increases a student’s experience, flexibility and knowledge of the craft of theatre.

Information about each production (including audition information) is posted on our Theatre Callboard located near the Theatre Department Main Office (Arts 269).
