INSTRUCTIONAL COMPUTING ENVIRONMENTS (ICE)

MSU Denver provides several Instructional Computing Environments (ICE) designed to accommodate the expanding teaching and learning needs of faculty and students, including custom virtual computing environments, MSU Denver Sites, and Blackboard Learn.

ICE are online learning environments that allow faculty to use novel teaching methodologies and provide an enhanced learning environment for students. For example, a custom virtual computing environment can be set up to meet a specific academic need, such an online computer lab that allows students to remotely access the course resources that would normally be provided in a physical compuber lab.

Each ICE is available 24/7 from anywhere with Internet access and can be edited by faculty as needed.

Details

A description of each ICE is available on the Instructional Computing webpage. Faculty may request a custom virtual computing environment by filling out a Instructional Computing Environment request form.
