Remote Phone Access

Accessing Skype for Business from your home or university computer

Your MSU Denver phone number is not restricted to the handset in your office; it can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection using the Skype for Business app and your MSU Denver NetID. Skype for Business functions as a virtual phone, allowing you to make and receive phone calls, check your voicemail, join conference calls, and more, all through your computer.

Speakers and a microphone are required to use Skype for Business. Most MSU Denver laptops have built-in speakers and a microphone, but you can use a headset or other speaker/microphone combination, if desired.
