Student Success Collaborative (SSC) Navigate (formerly Campus)

Overview

SSC Navigate (Navigate) is an EAB software tool that combines predictive analytics and caseload management functionality. EAB uses 10 years of MSU Denver data to identify characteristics that affect the likelihood of students graduating in a given academic program. These analytics can also be applied to current students to identify risk factors for completing their current or prospective major. The caseload management tools help advisors identify, communicate with, and refer students to appropriate resources—and assess how effective these efforts are. Students are also able to make online appointments with their academic advisor.

Campus Features

  • Risk Data

Advisors can see how “at-risk” students are in not completing their degree within 120-credits.

  • Coordinated Case Management

Campus-wide record of all communication, appointments, and meeting notes.

  • Multi-Modal Communication

Campus supports two-way conversations through email and phone.

  • Student Engagement Data

Reporting enables advisors and administrators to track student follow-through and use of support resources.

  • Appointment Scheduling

Students can see availability and make appointments with advisors (and, potentially, others). Students get reminders, and advisors control their availability.

  • Effectiveness Tracking

Dashboards that help us understand how effective these outreach efforts are in helping our students.
