Unique STEM policy fellowship

Are you an engineering student with an interest in public policy? Apply by Feb. 5 for a chance to study STEM policy with state Reps. Chris Hansen and Bob Rankin.

Electrical Engineering studentEngineering students in their junior or senior years can now apply for the Colorado Science and Engineering Fellowship. The program is designed to provide students in STEM disciplines with policymaking experience at the Capitol.

Throughout the 2018 summer session (June to September), each of the 12-15 fellows will conduct his/her own policy research project in addition to learning more about STEM policy through seminars and industry site visits.

Fellows will work with Colorado state Reps. Chris Hansen and Bob Rankin and also receive a $4,000 stipend to cover the cost of living in the Denver metro area, plus travel.

The application includes a short form, two essays and copies of your resume and academic transcript.
