It's Scholarship Time!
MSU Denver's 2021-22 Scholarship Application is now open! Scholarship applications received on or before March 1 are given priority in consideration for scholarship awards, so get your application in now! If you miss the priority deadline, we still encourage you to apply, as applications received after this date may still be considered.

Scholarship Workshops
Did you know that as part of your scholarship application, you will need to write an essay? Join an upcoming virtual workshop to learn about the application process and resources available to you. You can even bring a rough draft of your scholarship essay to the workshop and there will be advisors there to help you!

Essay Writing Assistance
GITA Scholarship Tutors 
MSU Denver's Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA) has scholarship tutors that are ready to assist you throughout the entire scholarship application process, from searching for scholarships (internal and external), to essay writing and application submission! Email Soj Sirivanchai to book an appointment. 

Writing Center
MSU Denver's Writing Center is also prepared to help you with your scholarship essays. Make an appointment with a Writing Center consultant to help in the brainstorming and writing process. 

Immigrant Services Program
MSU Denver's Immigrant Services Program can help you develop scholarship essays, complete your CASFA or FAFSA, and also provide support in developing academic writing and overall English language skills. Schedule an appointment with their staff now!
Financial Aid Information
Complete Your Financial Aid File
To maximize your eligibility for scholarships, complete your financial aid file by March 1. Your file is incomplete if the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is requesting additional information and documents from you. To complete your file:

Need Help Completing Your FAFSA or CASFA?
If you need help completing your FAFSA or CASFA (formerly DAIA), make a virtual appointment with either the Educational Opportunity Center (for FAFSA help) or the Immigrant Services Program (for CASFA help). Or, join the FAFSA/CASFA drop-in workshop on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

Submitting Documents to Financial Aid
Financial Aid asks that you submit files via Liquid Files, a simple and secure method for submitting files containing sensitive information. Or, if you are on campus, you can submit paperwork at the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships in the Jordan Student Success Building (JSSB).

Health Scholars Program

Reisher Scholars Program
The Reisher Scholarship is a Need-and-Merit-based scholarship for continuing first-year and incoming transfer students. Students must maintain full-time status and have at least a 3.0 GPA for consideration. Apply now! First-year student deadline: March 1 | Transfer student deadline: April 10
Puksta Scholars

Academic & Career Excellence
