Apply for up to four scholarships

The Institute for Women’s Studies and Services offers three scholarships each academic year, which are open to any students that meet the criteria, regardless of whether they are a Women’s Studies major or minor:

  • The Pamela McIntyre-Marcum Memorial Scholarship for students who have confronted issues of violence in their lives.
  • The Meredith Wetzel Memorial Scholarship for students who have had to cope with a life-threatening illness or accident.
  • The Activist Scholarship for students that are actively engaged in social change.

Scholarships range from $500-$1,000 and are good for one year. Students are welcome to apply each academic year in February. Awardees are given the opportunity to be honored at this year’s Outstanding Women’s Awards on Tuesday, April 25.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2017
