Strategic Plan 2025
If anything were possible, what would you imagine for the future of Metropolitan State University of Denver?
More innovative learning spaces? Better opportunities for students? Fully integrated internal processes and systems?
The goal of MSU Denver’s strategic planning process is to answer that core question and then determine how we can make our big ideas possible.
Our inclusive planning process kicked off in January 2019 with a clearly defined timeline. The Strategic Planning Team has kept us on track to launch in July 2020. But this plan belongs to all of us and we each have a role to play in the process of reimagining the future of our University.
Spring semester 2020 kicked off with the SPT working to come to consensus around five pillars (themes) for Strategic Plan 2025: Student Access and Achievement; Civic and Economic Catalyst; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Agile and Sustainable; and Student-Centered Academic Excellence. At the Goals Conference on Feb. 14, the SPT worked with implementors (AVPs, deans, associate deans, directors, etc.) to develop goals pertaining to each pillar.
All hands on deck
MSU Denver's future will be shaped by all of us. The Strategic Planning Team – an esteemed group of faculty, staff and students – will guide the process. But this is a true team effort. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will be carefully reviewed by the SPT.
