Concentration in Childhood Communication
The SLHS program offers a concentration in Childhood Communication designed for students interested in pursuing a career working with children in related fields (e.g., human services, psychology, literacy).
For all prerequisite SLHS courses students must earn a letter grade of "C-" or higher in order to progress to the next level. If students earn a letter grade lower than a "C-" the course must be repeated.
A Minor is required for students majoring in SLHS. Options include but are not limited to: biology, linguistics, psychology, Spanish, special education, or communication studies.
