Need Another Reason to Apply by the Priority Deadline?
A key part of all social work education is the field placement or internship. In our program, students work with our Office of Field Education through the interview process with agencies and to secure a field placement. Some agencies that we work with have early interviews, meaning only students accepted during the priority round would be eligible to apply for a field placement there during their first year in the program. These agencies are:
- Maria Droste
- Children’s Hospital
- Denver Family Institute
- All court internships
We have relationships with over 500 agencies throughout the state for field placements, but if you have your heart set on interviewing with one of these agencies for a chance at having your field placement there, you must apply by the priority deadline. As a reminder, the priority deadline is October 31st, 2018 at 11:59 PM.
