You may be wondering – what are my chances of getting accepted into the MSW Program? Below you will find the average acceptance rates for both programs.
It’s important to take the time necessary to complete all pieces of your application to the best of your ability. Remember, the admissions committee only knows you from your application, so take the time to be comprehensive and showcase your professional and academic potential to improve your chances of being accepted.
Average Acceptance Rates:
- Regular Program Applicants - 75%
- Advanced Standing Program Applicants - 65%
Undergraduate Cumulative GPA of Accepted Students
Your undergraduate cumulative GPA plays an important role in the assessment of your application to the MSW Program, however it is not the only factor. A minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for acceptance into the MSW Program, however applicants who have a lower GPA may be accepted conditionally on a case by case basis.

Advanced Standing Program:
- 3.0 and above - 92%
- 2.5 to 2.99 - 7%
- 2.49 and below - 1%
- 3.0 and above - 78%
- 2.5 to 2.99 - 20%
- 2.49 and below - 2%
