COVID-19 PROTOCOL, RESOURCES AND INFORMATION LATEST UPDATES ON FALL 2021 PLANNING, VACCINES, COVID-19 TESTING AND MORE
MSU Denver

The Roadrunners Safe Return Committee has been hard at work preparing plans for the spring semester and our continued long-term strategy of safeguarding the health of our campus community.

With the University’s health and safety measures proving to help mitigate the spread of Covid-19, we will roadrunner-safe-return-to-campus-update-vertical-2021

  • All students and members of faculty and staff on campus will be required to be fully vaccinated or complete mandatory Covid-19 testing weekly.
  • Masking indoors will remain mandatory.
  • All members of the campus community are expected to self-monitor for symptoms.

Our challenge throughout the pandemic has been balancing the need to carry out our mission while keeping people safe. The data show we are meeting that challenge.

  • Our vaccination rates are very high, with more than 90% of in-person students and more than 98% of our employees fully vaccinated.
  • Case rates remain very low, with a 1.5% average positivity rate throughout the fall semester, compared with 7% for the state and 4% in Denver.
  • There have been no recorded Covid-19 outbreaks on campus.

These outcomes are thanks in no small part to the diligence of students and faculty and staff members in doing their part to keep friends and colleagues safe by getting vaccinated, monitoring for symptoms, testing frequently and wearing a mask.

All Covid-19-related protocols are subject to change based on recommendations from public-health authorities. Please continue to monitor your MSU Denver email account for updates throughout the semester.

We are grateful for and proud of our entire campus community for your commitment to preserve in-person learning while prioritizing the health and safety of our community. Please stay diligent.
