Help to design the next information system for your organization. Change the way people work. Write the killer app. Become part of a safer and more secure computing environment.
Housed in the Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics Department, MSU Denver’s Computer Information Systems (CIS) bachelor’s program offers a challenging education in both general business and modern technology that will allow you to become part of the fast-paced digital world. This is the only CIS program in Colorado accredited by both AACSB and ABET, the world’s top accrediting agencies for business and engineering/technology/computing programs.
Grounded in MSU Denver’s philosophy to help train Colorado’s workforce of tomorrow, the Computer Information Systems courses involve hands-on experience in the latest technologies applied in the context of business.
Not only will you have chances to take courses in HTML5 and CSS3, Java, PHP and operating systems such as Windows, UNIX and Linux, you can also take advantage of advanced studies in cyber security, business analytics, systems analysis and design, database design and administration, telecommunications, local and wide-area networking, data mining, ERP, Web administration and application development.
Couple your in-depth CIS education with an internship, which will give you on-the-job experience, and you’ll have an ideal platform from which to launch a career.
