MSU Denver’s American Democracy Project hosts Oct. 19 ballot issue debate for Amendments 69 and 70

As a member of American Democracy Project (ADP), Metropolitan State University of Denver is organizing a ballot issue debate to help educate students and encourage civic engagement. Amendment 69, ColoradoCare single-payer health care system; and Amendment 70, Colorado Minimum Wage Raise to $12 will be debated with representatives for and against the ballot issues.
MSU Denver opens doors to its most diverse student population yet

Metropolitan State University of Denver has the most diverse student body in its history, according to a recently released fall 2016 census report. The number of students from diverse backgrounds grew by 4.7 percent over the last year, with the largest increase of 7.4 percent among Latino students.

Metropolitan State University of Denver earns AACSB International Accreditation

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) announced today that Metropolitan State University of Denver has earned accreditation for its College of Business. Founded in 1916, AACSB International is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees in business and accounting.
