Stacy Dvergsdal is the associate vice president for Human Resources at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Stacy has been working and consulting with organizations for over 25 years, with particular emphasis on strategic human-resource management, diversity and inclusion, executive coaching, leadership development, employee engagement, performance management and mentoring. For over 15 years as an affiliate faculty member at Regis University, she has been teaching and designing courses in the Masters of Organizational Leadership and MBA programs.

Prior to joining MSU Denver, she was at Denver Public Schools, where she led culture, engagement and values-based leadership. She has worked at Janus Capital Group, where the team was awarded with the American Society for Training and Development first best learning organization of 2008 and coached numerous organizational leaders. She has also worked at Jeppesen, EPI and FMI Corp. She has consulted with the Denver Zoo, Raytheon and the City and County of Denver.

Stacy is a first-generation graduate. She received her Master of Arts degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors, graduating magna cum laude in psychology from Southern Methodist University.
