Christine Márquez-Hudson is the vice president of University Advancement and the executive director of the MSU Denver Foundation; she is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for MSU Denver’s fundraising efforts. In this role, Márquez-Hudson oversees a team of more than 30 staff members working to advance the University’s fundraising, alumni engagement and donor relations. She also serves as the primary liaison with the Foundation Board of Directors and oversees the effective stewardship and distribution of the MSU Denver Foundation’s assets.

Prior to joining MSU Denver, Márquez-Hudson was president and chief executive officer of the Denver Foundation, the largest and most experienced community foundation in the Rocky Mountain West. She has also served as CEO of a community-based organization, a nonprofit consultant, a direct service provider and a teacher.

Márquez-Hudson has won numerous community awards for her leadership, including 9News Leader of the Year, LatinasFirst Trailblazer Award and Girl Scouts’ Woman of Distinction. She has served on many community boards, commissions and committees, currently with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Women’s Forum of Colorado.
