MSU Denver LinkedIn Learning FAQ
Metropolitan State University of Denver has partnered with LinkedIn to offer the LinkedIn Learning solution to all current MSU students, staff and faculty. LinkedIn Learning provides on-demand, fully online, byte-sized training videos, courses, and learning paths to gain new skills based on your goals, interests and experience.
MSU Denver gives you the option of using your LinkedIn profile to access LinkedIn Learning, or to allow you Learning access without a profile. For more information on your MSU Denver’s options, please reach out directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
MSU Denver may choose to require you to have LinkedIn profile to access Learning. If they do so, after the upgrade is complete, you’ll receive an email with steps to activate your LinkedIn Learning account. If you don’t have a personal LinkedIn account already, we’ll guide you through the steps of creating one at that time.
Content and Learning Experience
You’ll continue to be able to watch all the same content, bookmark courses, and obtain certificates of completion. Please watch the How to Use LinkedIn Learning course for details on all of the features and functionality available to you.
Once you activate and link your enterprise account with your LinkedIn account, you’ll log in using the same credentials you use to access your LinkedIn account.
Yes, all of the same great content you know from Lynda.com will be on LinkedIn Learning.
Yes, when the upgrade is complete all of your history will be in your new LinkedIn Learning account.
Yes, your LinkedIn Learning activity won’t show on your LinkedIn profile unless you choose to add a completed course.
No, MSU Denver will only be able to see your learning activity, such as courses you’ve completed on your organization provided learning account.
