Regional and National Organizations

The American Mathematical Society (AMS) is a Mathematical organization that focuses on research based mathematics and organizes conferences. They also have links to Summer Research Experiences and other math related information and resources.


The MAA is another group for mathematicians.  They focus more on education, both for instructors and students, undergraduate and graduate.  They have useful information on Summer REU's, seminars, and more.

The website for the Rocky Mountain Section of the MAA includes information on local events and seminars, and resources for students in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Section from the MAA.


SIAM is one of the most well known applied math organizations.  They have a variety of information for people interested in this area of mathematics.


The AWM is an association dedicated to Women in Mathematics.  Their site has a variety of useful resources, as well as scholarship information for women in mathematics.



IEEE, an association dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity, is the world's largest technical professional society. It is designed to serve professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic, and computing fields and related areas of science and technology that underlie modern civilization.


Association for Computing Machinery

ACM, the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. ACM provides the computing field's premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources.
