DEPARTMENT TUTORING

The department offers tutoring for Math and Computer Science in our labs:

MATH LAB:  Science, Room 1046 (SI 1046)

CS STUDENT LOUNGE:  Aerospace and Engineering Science, Room 237 (AES 237)

COVID-19 UPDATE: All tutoring hours will be held online via DISCORD until campus reopens.

 

Drop in to work on your homework during the scheduled hours below and our tutors on duty will help you as needed. 

  • Our department tutors are students majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.  To qualify as a tutor for the department, students must have a cumulative GPA in the major of 3.00, have completed Calculus II or Probabity and Statistics (for math tutors) or have completed CS coursework beyond CS 2050 (for CS tutors), and have a faculty reference.
  • Tutors usually begin working the second week of classes. 

 

**Please Note: Scheduled hours will be posted no later than the end of the first week of each semester.**
