Math Lab Tutoring


The department offers tutoring for Mathematics and Statistics in our Math Lab:

Science building, Room 1046 (SI 1046)

COVID-19 UPDATE: All Math Lab tutoring hours will be held online via DISCORD until campus reopens.


Drop in to work on your homework during the scheduled hours below and our tutors on duty will help you as needed. 

  • Our department tutors are students majoring in Mathematics and/or Statistics.  To qualify as a tutor for the department, students must have a cumulative GPA in the major of at least 3.00 and must have completed Calculus II or Probabity and Statistics.
  • Tutors usually begin working the second week of classes. 


**Please Note: Scheduled hours will be posted no later than the end of the first week of each semester.**

**Private Tutoring**

Need to hire a private tutor? Send an email to for referrals.

The Mathematics and Statistics Department does not sponsor or supervise private tutors.
Fees, charges, and schedules are negotiated between the tutor and the student.
