Overall Program Description
Spend three weeks in one of the world’s great art centers and earn 6 units of art history credit. Immerse yourself in the complex and diverse visual cultures of Mexico: the monumental remains of its Pre-Colombian past, the hybrid creations of its Spanish colonial era, and its revolutionary modernism. From Aztec pyramids to Baroque cathedrals and works by Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, you will experience the rich and powerful traditions which make Mexico one of the world’s greatest cultural treasures. Join this unique program and discover Mexico as you’ve never seen it before.
