Opportunities - Paid and Unpaid

Most of these opporunities are single event opportunities. They can apply toward 1200 hours of experience, some are available for pay, while others offer extra credit or general experience.
Hospitality All Stars - Thursday, September 27
Must attend a volunteer’s orientation meeting 1 hour in length, date and location to be announced.
Contact for Swag Bag Stuff, emailing and possibly calling local companies, including, hotels, caterers, solicit donations of collateral & gifts to include in the Swag Bag. Record information received; pass on info to Event Manager. Make calls on your own, from list and script provided. Start Aug 10, completed by August 30
Call VIP Ticket holders- 2 weeks prior to the event; call VIP Ticket holders for the names of their attendees. Give the names to Name Badge area to create name badges. Make calls on your own from list provided. Record information received; pass on info to Event Manager. Start August 14, until finished
Print Name badges from list, Stuffing name badge inserts into plastic sleeves. Collect late arriving names, create name badges. Sept 25 and 26. Late afternoon, time TBD
Room Décor - Become completely familiar with the set up for each vignette, arrive prior to the events, insure all signage is correct, all rooms are set correctly, take corrective action if not. 1 meeting prior to event, - 3-6pm Sept 27
Receiving – insure all items are received at the venue. Assist the Band with load in/load out
Sept 27 -5pm to 9 pm
Arrive early, attend the registration desk. Give name badges to those registered, accept money and create name badges for those who walk in.
Must attend a pre event training session. - Sept 27 -5pm to 9 pm
On Site Staff- General Assistance with onsite coordination-duties as assigned Sept 27 -5pm to 9 pm
