School of Hospitality, Events and Tourism
Students in the Hospitality, Events and Tourism program prepare for management and operational careers in Colorado's second-largest industry. The hospitality industry is the second-largest industry in Colorado. Everyone eats, drinks, sleeps and interacts with others.
Majors include Event & Meeting Management, Hotel Management, Travel & Tourism Management, Restaurant Management, Brewery Operations, Outdoor Recreation which are housed in the Rita and Navin Dimond Department of Hotel Management, generously funded by the founders of Stonebridge Companies.
Our programs are specifically designed to facilitate the above activities, arm you with skills in the latest technology and education, and assist you in effective delivery of customer service.

Our program is ever changing to meet the student's needs. We are continuing to add online courses, as well as weekend and night courses. And our program offers many opportunities to get hands-on experience while obtaining your degree.
Our faculty have years of actual experience. They continue to update their education and are an active part of the hospitality industry.

Our new degree in event and meeting management offers students hands-on training and global perspective to meet the needs of a growing profession. The Bachelor of Science in Event and Meeting Management (EVTM) will be offered the coming academic year.
Craft breweries and brewpubs are a significant component of Colorado’s culture and economy, and the beer industry has reported a need for employees trained in brewing operations.
Our beer industry degrees blend the art and science of brewing with the hospitality knowledge and operational skills desired by the industry.
