Honors Thesis Guidebook
The Honors Thesis Guidebook is a tool to help you navigate your way through the process of completing the Honors Thesis.
A collection of resources to help develop your Honors Thesis
The Senior Honors Thesis is the culmination of the Honors undergraduate experience allowing students to synthesize learning using critical analysis and logical thinking. Students will complete an independent research and/or creative project under the direction of a primary Thesis Advisor and the Honors Director. The Thesis Advisor is a faculty member with expertise in a discipline closely related to the topic of the thesis project. Students submit a written thesis and deliver a public oral presentation of their work.
In order to guide students through this process, many materials have been gathered here for your convenience. Below you will find a copy of the Honors Thesis Guidebook, a compilation of many resources and instructions which are useful to the process of completing a thesis. You will also find a selection of AACU Rubrics, which students will parse through and select from when deciding how their thesis should best be judged.
