Nearly 1.4 million jobs in allied health are projected to be available by 2024, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. To help fill this need and create opportunities to change and advance careers in health care, MSU Denver offers an industry-leading bachelor’s degree in Health Care Professional Services.

Health care professionals help decrease disparities in health among diverse populations to create a nation that’s living longer and healthier. With a Health Care Professional Services undergraduate degree, you can play a leadership role in this by preparing to work in health care-related organizations or to pursue graduate-level studies in health care.

During the Senior Experience Internship, Health Care Professional Services majors complete management projects in a health care organization while working with others in a professional health care setting.

The bachelor’s degree program in Health Care Professional Services is supported by MSU Denver’s College of Professional Studies. Jeff Helton

Jeff Helton

Dr. Jeff Helton has worked 25 years as an executive in the health care industry; leading hospitals, health plans and integrated health systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Health Care Management at the University of Texas, his M.S. in Hospital and Health Administration at the University of Alabama Birmingham, and his B.B.A. in Health Care Administration at Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Kevin Zeiler

Kevin Zeiler

Having worked in numerous capacities in the health care arena, Kevin Zeiler started his career in EMS and continues his passion for educating at MSU Denver. Zeiler’s interest in teaching include law, disparities and the financial implications of health care decision-making.

 

Amy Dore

Amy Dore

Dr. Amy Dore is a long-time Roadrunner, graduating from MSU Denver in 1996 with a B.S. in Health Care Management. After that, she earned her Master’s of Health Systems from the University of Denver and then her Doctorate of Health Administration from Central Michigan University. When she’s not educating the future leaders of the Health Care industry, Dr. Dore enjoys spending time outdoors, photography and spending time with her family.
