Inclusive, Comprehensive Advising

The health sector desperately needs diverse, well-trained health professionals to meet the demands of Colorado’s fast-growing 65-plus demographic. The need is high for doctors and nurses, but it also is critical for other positions that include mental-health worker, data scientists, social workers, health navigators, hospice workers, audiologists, dietitians and many more.

Through high-impact advising and academic-success initiatives, mentorships, research opportunities and internships, MSU Denver’s Health Institute will help students identify and prepare for careers that are right for them while also developing skills that will equip them to grow professionally throughout the career and work in transprofessional teams.
