Culturally Responsive Curriculum
Training students to be adept at serving diverse communities.
MSU Denver has more than 8,600 undergraduate students of color, which is nearly forty-five percent of our total population. Not only is it incumbent on us to provide an inclusive educational environment, it is also critical that we train students to sensitively serve diverse communities.
Thirty percent of Colorado residents are people of color, but today only 2 percent of health-care managers are. By supporting diverse and underserved students through their health education and training, MSU Denver will be preparing health and behavioral health practitioners to support the health and wellness of multicultural Coloradoans.
