Next steps for newly admitted students
As an accepted student, you will receive a nine-digit “900” Student ID number in your acceptance letter. You can also get your student ID number from the office of admissions.
The program will review previous graduate-level work earned at a regionally accredited institution and determine whether or not transfer credit is applicable to the master’s program at MSU Denver.
Financial Aid may be available for graduate students. For more information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at 303-556-8593 or visit the Student Success Building, Counter 6.
Undocumented and DACA students should complete the DREAMer Application for Institutional Aid (DAIA) to apply for institutional financial support.
Pay tuition and fees via the Student Hub (see step 2) or at the Cashier’s Office located in the Student Success Building, Room 140, by 5 p.m. on Friday before classes begin.
Visit My First Login for instructions on how to access your NetID and PIN. Then head over to the Student Hub where you will use this information to log in and access web services such as student email, registration, class schedules, financial aid, and other services you may need in the future. Please note that your university-assigned student email account is the official means of communication from MSU Denver for enrolled students.
Contact your program so that the Program Coordinator can help you develop a plan of study. An advising appointment may be required before registration is allowed.
Purchase books and supplies at Tivoli Station, formerly Auraria Campus Bookstore. Secure your Student ID card in Tivoli Room 205. Items needed: $22 (cash or credit/debit), a valid photo ID, and a copy of your class schedule.
All students should carefully review and complete any necessary steps regarding the mandatory health insurance requirement and the mandatory immunization requirement.
