Faculty Resources

Center for Teaching, Learning and Design

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Design directly supports MSU Denver's primary mission of offering excellence in teaching and learning.

Support for Scholarly Activity

Scholarly activity is one of the three major areas of evaluation for all Category I faculty at MSU Denver. The following resources are intended to support faculty in their pursuit of excellence in the area of scholarship.

Portfolio Workshops

As a new and ongoing faculty member of MSU Denver, you will have the opportunity to participate in the various workshops that we offer. These workshops are designed to help you prepare, organize, and submit your faculty evaluation portfolio.

Digital Measures

Digital Measures is the online portfolio tool the University has adopted to organize and document faculty activity in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service. Digital Measures has the capability of streamlining and simplifying the process of assembling the portfolio you will submit for evaluation purposes, including, but not limited to, retention, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review.

Faculty Senate

β€Œβ€Œβ€Œβ€ŒThe Faculty Senate of the Metropolitan State University of Denver officially represents faculty members in all matters of interest and concern. These interests and concerns include, but are not limited to, receiving and making recommendations on current and proposed changes in academic, administrative, fiscal and personnel policies.
