Kevin Hammons is a lecturer of fire and emergency response administration in the Department of Human Services. He was an investigator for IRIS Fire Investigations, and the president of Revelations Inc., a public safety consulting firm. He retired as Deputy Chief and Fire Marshal from the Aurora Fire Department in 2007. During his career he also served as a firefighter, fitness coordinator, paramedic, fire investigator, lieutenant, SWAT team medic, captain, battalion chief, planning and development officer, PIO, internal affairs officer, and emergency preparedness supervisor. Kevin has provided services for schools, colleges, fire departments, police departments, government agencies, and private businesses. He has presented specialized-training in the United States and internationally.
