ENV 390R Ecology and Management of Western Ecosystems
Dr. Schliemann is offering Ecology and Management of Western Ecosystems, ENV 390R from May 28-June 7. This two week course will investigate the ecology, management, and restoration of Western ecosystems and will focus on semi-arid grasslands. Class will includes a 9 day field trip May 30-June 7 to New Mexico. Cost $500 plus tuition. Contact Dr. Schliemann if interested: firstname.lastname@example.org.
MTR 3777 – Field Observations of Severe Weather
Dr. Ng and Professor Landolt are offering MTR 3777 during the later half of the Maymester. Prerequisites are MTR 2410 and MTR 3410.
Description: This field-based course is intended to combine classroom theories with actual field observations. Students are required to meet for an one-hour course on safety and expectations before the start of the class. The course will concentrate severe weather field observations across Central and High-Plains. Overnight stay will be necessary due to the ever-changing nature of weather patterns. Additional course fee is required. Students are responsible to pay for the outside incidentals, such as food and drinks. Contact Dr. Ng if interested: email@example.com.
