Maymester Field Course
Ecology and Management of Western Ecosystems

3 Credit Hours
This two week class will investigate the ecology, management and restoration of Western ecosystems, and will focus on semi-arid grasslands.
The course will include a 10 day field trip to New Mexico where students will participate in management and restoration at the Rio Mora National Fish and Wildlife Refuge. Field trip will include camping, hiking and physical labor.
This trip ran from May 23, 2018 – June 1, 2018. Dates for the 2019 course will be announced in January 2019.
