Fall is in the air, which means it’s time for the Roadrunner community to get in step and keep hearts and toes warm all winter long during the fourth annual Metropolitan State University of Denver Socktober giving event!

Last year was our most successful Socktober yet, with 319 donors comprising faculty members, staff members, students and community members, helping to contribute more than $16,600 to the Student Emergency Fund, the DREAMer Emergency Fund and Rowdy’s Corner and donating a record 669 pairs of socks to students in need. In three years, Socktober has raised over $46,000, ensuring that Roadrunners have food at home and access to emergency financial support so they can focus on achieving their goal of earning a degree.

When you make a gift of $25 ($15 is tax-deductible) to the Student Emergency Fund, DREAMer Emergency Fund or Roadrunner Food Pantry on the official Socktober giving page from Oct. 1-31, you will receive one pair of limited-edition MSU Denver socks and another pair will be donated to a student in need. A limited number of sock bundles with previous-year designs will also be available to help you complete your collection.

Feel Roadrunner pride down to your toes by making a gift during Socktober, and together we can ensure that MSU Denver students have the resources they need to rise and reimagine a future where anything is possible.
