Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Staff Senate convened Dec. 13 for its monthly meeting led by Rebecca Reid, president and innovation-and-transformation analyst.

Due to the reorganization of colleges, the Staff Senate created a task force to visit the current Staff Senate structure and determine the best way to proceed so the Staff Senate structure mirrors the University’s structure.

The Staff Senate comprises four officers, 10 division senators and 12 at-large senators. Bridget Wetzel, secretary and manager of online student services, and the task force are proposing that the new structure would have 13 division senators and nine at-large senators.

Constituents should contact their senators or provide feedback here by Jan. 9 for their thoughts to be included in the January Staff Senate meeting. A vote will be taken at the Staff Senate on Jan. 10.
