Bring a Child to Work DayMetropolitan State University of Denver is participating in national Bring a Child to Work Day on April 27.  Bring A Child to Work Day helps empower youth and promotes curiosity through the exploration of the workforce. 

All are welcome! MSU Denver will share Universitywide activities that provide Roadrunner families with an opportunity to learn and explore what is possible in their futures. The event is an occasion for children to learn about MSU Denver and to experience being a part of the Roadrunner community. Employees and their families/children are invited to participate.  

What to expect:  

  • Bring a Child to Work Day offers a full agenda from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.  
  • When you bring a child to work, visit the Office of Human Resources in Jordan Student Success Building Room 304 to receive a welcome packet and get your day started.  
  • Grab-and-go lunch will be provided from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in JSSB Room 305. 
  • Registration will be open until the end of day April 10 for all MSU Denver faculty and staff members. 
  • If you cannot attend in person but would like to participate, please fill out the registration form to receive a virtual workbook. 

*Please keep in mind that some activities and supplies are limited. Please RSVP by the end of the day Monday to reserve first access to all sessions.

Additional information  

There is nearby campus parking at the Tivoli garage for $7.50/day, or you can choose a different lot on campus. Light snacks will be provided in JSSB 304; however, please bring whatever you need to be comfortable.
