Metropolitan State University of Denver will be well-represented at Denver Startup Week with Roadrunners from faculty, the Classroom to Career Hub and the senior leadership team participating during the weeklong event, which will take place Monday through Sept. 23 throughout downtown Denver.

MSU Denver will also serve as a partner sponsor for this gathering of startup founders, entrepreneurs and business leaders from Denver and beyond. This annual conference is the largest free event of its kind and attracts burgeoning and established innovators from across multiple industries, including technology, health care and education.

On Tuesday, Devika Banerji, Ph.D., assistant professor of Marketing, and Samuel Jay, Ph.D., director of Faculty Affairs, will join Adrienne Martinez, Nahum Kisner and Nicole Magloire from the C2Hub to discuss the benefit of industry partnerships for students, businesses and faculty members. The panel will take place from 9-9:30 a.m. at Denver Place, 999 18th St. More information, including how to sign up and RSVP, can be found on the Denver Startup Week website.

Maluwa Behringer, executive director of industry partnerships in the C2Hub, will join the “Denver’s Best Kept Secret for Small Business” panel Wednesday, helping to inform civil leaders in Denver about business growth, funding and support available to them. This panel will take place from 1-2 p.m. at Denver Place.

Beyond these MSU Denver panelists, faculty members, staff members, students and University leaders are encouraged to sign up and attend more of what Denver Startup Week has to offer. The event is a great opportunity to learn from and network with others from Denver and beyond who are doing some amazing things in their industries.
